A big day - The Zoo and 1st Haircut

We had a big day today by the standards of a two year old. First, we went to the Cincinnati Zoo. I don't know that Mia was all that impressed with the animals because we may have talked about them too much before hand so that it wasn't exciting when she finally got to see all of them in person. I think the small train seemed to be the most exciting part of the day. When we got onto the train, she put her hands in the air as if she were on an amusement ride and made the sound of a train. That took us by surprise!

(My favorite picture was watching Mark and Mia walk down a trail hand in hand.)

After the zoo (and a well needed nap) Mia had her first haircut, if we could even call it that. For two years old, she didn't have much to trim - just a handful of little curls. Mia did well, but as you can see it was a very serious occasion. Not much smiling, just all business. We pulled out a sucker to help her stay in place in the chair.
