Mia got a new shirt and it has little pictures on it of her favorite items...ice cream, which she refers to as "creams". She will not take the shirt off and is wearing it for the second day in a row. We haven't gone anywhere so I haven't had to deal with the drama of getting her to change her clothes. Thank God! She thinks it is a dress and I'll not tell her otherwise.
Remember the days of making a tent with chairs, tables, and whatever quilts or sheets you could find? Well, Mia likes the tent we make with the dining room table. We end up with all sorts of toys under the table. The hard part for me is getting under there and then getting back out. Mark just ends up laying under there for a LONG time.
We went to the park the other day to feed the ducks and rent a paddle boat. The boat ride wasn't very long but it was fun while it lasted. Feeding the ducks didn't go as well. The ducks ignored the barrage of Cheerios that were thrown at them, so that was disappointing. They just went about their business and kept on preening and sleeping. Next time we will try bread. That will work won't it? Maybe that is more enticing.
